In June 2004, Collezione La Gaia opened its exhibition space. A four-story building designed by architects Mario Semino and Silvio Rattalino, with building materials like concrete, glass, steel, and copper, clearly exposed. It was built to display the results of the passionate journey through the art world shared by Bruna Girodengo and Matteo Viglietta.

It stands on the green hill above Busca (Cuneo), the small town where the art collectors made their home – and houses a significant selection of works from the Collection. A home for art that stands as a testimony to a journey begun many years ago, filled with discoveries and sightings; a place to meet and converse with other contemporary art lovers. Each year, a new exhibition itinerary is created, blending the past and present in an exchange of creativity and interpretive insights. It’s a space for learning that welcomes students, scholars, artists, curators, patrons, and directors of major international museums and important art events from five continents.
